The British Museum

Packed with the most exquisite shapes, colours, materials, textures and details that the World's history can offer, the BM is design inspiration second to none. Designers are highly sensitized to such stimuli, which is why after a visit to the British Museum I usually need a lie down in a darkened room. The above image is Lely's Venus (Aphrodite).

I like networking websites. What designer wouldn't? Rapidly moving technology, global context; the chance to see what millions of people are thinking, seeing, doing all of the time and at any time. And the chance to add your own little bit of seasoning to the mix. From Linkedin to Twitter there are mind-numbing possibilities for interaction and expression.
